習(xí)坎名師
湖北省沙市中學(xué)首屆“習(xí)坎名師”評(píng)選結(jié)果
經(jīng)學(xué)校學(xué)術(shù)委員會(huì)認(rèn)真評(píng)選，校長辦公會(huì)研究決定授予高俊、趙五藝、吳祥成、張志禮、吳本萍、
張俊、肖述友、何新建、徐善慧、黃祥州、劉志國、龔少清、李成鳳(資深班主任)、黃發(fā)桂(資深班主
任)、李景鑫（特級(jí)教師）、周瓊（特級(jí)教師）等16名教師為湖北省沙市中學(xué)首屆“習(xí)坎名師”。
歡聲笑語齊聚體育館，慶祝第二十二個(gè)教師節(jié)
2006年9月10日，我校在體育館舉行慶祝第二十二個(gè)教師節(jié)暨迎新聯(lián)歡會(huì)，全校3000多名師生參加
了聯(lián)歡會(huì)，大會(huì)表彰了湖北省沙市中學(xué)首屆“習(xí)坎名師”、“優(yōu)秀班主任”和第十九屆“習(xí)坎系列
獎(jiǎng)”，同時(shí)給全校師生獻(xiàn)上了一臺(tái)精彩的演出。

Katy McIntosh
My name is Katy McIntosh and I'm from the United States. I live in the state of
Minnesota (home of the NBA team the Minnesota Timberwolves.) I graduated from the
University of Minnesota in 2002 with a double major in International Business and
Spanish, and a minor in Chinese. I really like to play sports, and my favorite sport is
soccer. In the U.S., I played on two different soccer teams. I also like to play
tennis, golf, hockey, and almost every other sport. I like to watch the NBA (especially
the Timberwolves), and my favorite NBA player is Kevin Garnett. In my free time, I also
like to read, sleep and travel.
Before I came to Jingzhou, I taught English in Beijing and Shiyan (Hubei province.) So
far I really like Jingzhou and Shashi Middle School. I think it is a pleasant city and
I like being by the Yangtze River. The school is very nice and the students seem
intelligent.
This is my second time in China. During my third year of college (in 2001), I lived in
Beijing for 6 months and studied at Beijing Language & Culture University. I wanted to
come back to China because I am very interested in China's history and culture. Plus I
wanted to improve my Chinese. After living in Beijing, my Chinese was quite good, but
then I didn't speak it for several years and I forgot a lot. So now I am learning
Chinese again. It's so important to speak a language everyday or else it is very easy
to forget. I hope all the students will try to practice English every day, with their
classmates, other teachers, or even by themselves.
I am very happy to be at Shashi Middle School and I hope to have a good year. I also
hope that I can help the students improve their English, which may allow them to achieve
their dreams of going to a good university, finding a good job, or going
abroad.
